WinRAR Registration Help

I CANNOT OPEN THE RARKEY FILE

Please ensure that you have downloaded and installed the latest WinRAR version and also make sure that it is set as your default program for .rar files.

 

I HAVE WinRAR INSTALLED BUT STILL CANNOT OPEN THE RARKEY FILE: 

I get a message saying: Registration failed

If you see the following error message when trying to register your WinRAR license key:

Please make sure that you have the latest version of WinRAR installed from here.

You can also drag your rarreg.key file and drop it into the WinRAR window to register it.

If that does not work then you can temporarily copy it into your C:\Program Files\WinRAR\ folder, but do be aware that if that file is ever deleted then you will no longer have access to your license, as it is not yet saved into your Windows Register.
